Tennessee has over 500 waterfalls, most of which are located in the eastern portion of the state, along the Cumberland Plateau or in the Applachian Mountains. You could spend weeks or months exploring all these waterfalls. They include Falls Creek Falls, the highest single plunge east of the Rockies, Virgin Falls, which flows out of one cave and into another, and many others.
